Description

Learning about local birds and exploring them together as a family is a wonderful way to engage even your youngest child in the Great Outdoors! Join Audubon Staff and Volunteers on walks throughout the Metro-area. Toddlers to teenagers will improve their spotting skills and bird identification through calls, colors, and flight. Bring your own binoculars and start a new family hobby! We'll explore City Park to see what birds are hanging around this popular Denver spot as summer approaches. This is a great opportunity to learn about the birds that call the city home, and we should see a good variety on the water and in the trees and grass.

Meeting Place: Denver City Park Bandshell at Ferril Lake, across from the Pavilion

Leader: Tracy Rackauskas, ASGD Master Birder Candidate

Registration required. No fee, but donations to ASGD appreciated. Limited to 20 people.
