I've loved birds my whole life, but I've only started what I would call 'intentional birding' in the last few years under the tutelage of the amazing folks of Denver Audubon. For this birdathon, I'll be going out for the first time ever to see how many different species of birds I can see in just one day. On an average birding trip, I record around 20-25 different species. Can I find 50? 100?
I hope to visit at least three birding hotspots around Denver with notepad, reference book, and binoculars in hand.
